Instructions

  • Roll the cursor over a trail on the map to see the name;
  • Click on a trail to add it to your itinerary. The length of the trail in kilometres and miles will appear, as will the total kilometres/miles of all trails selected;
  • Click the rubbish bin symbol next to a trail to remove it;
  • Click the globe symbol next to a trail to open its web site in another tab;
  • Click and hold the name of a trail in the list to drag it up or down;
  • Use the plus and minus symbols on the map to zoom;
  • Click, hold, and drag the map anywhere to recentre it
  • Click the small arrows in the upper right corner of the map to make it full screen;
  • We'd greatly appreciate any feedback you have. Please use the contact form to get in touch.

Please Note

  • Trail routes and lengths are approximate. The tool is for rough initial planning only, and and cannot be used for navigation or detailed planning;
  • If two sections of trail seem to connect, they probably do, except for Hadrian’s Wall Path and the Annandale Way, which definitely do not!
  • The trail section designations such as the “A” in Macmillan Way A are our own designations for the use of this web site only, and do not correspond to designations made by the individual trail management organisations.
  • We plan to add more trails in future. Suggestions welcome.
